"Water is not a human right." 💧💰

A Nestlé executive once said this, and the company has operated like it’s true—profiting off our planet’s most essential resource while people and ecosystems suffer.

Now rebranded as BlueTriton, Nestlé controls 50+ bottled water brands like Poland Spring, Pure Life, and Perrier. Their business model? Draining water sources for pennies and selling it back to us at massive markups.

🔹 California’s worst drought in history? Nestlé extracted 36 billion liters in a single year—for just $524 in permit fees.
🔹 Flint, Michigan? Residents still struggle with unsafe tap water, while Nestlé profits from their reliance on bottled water.
🔹 The plastic waste crisis? The bottled water industry produces 2.5 million tons of plastic waste annually, most of which ends up in oceans, landfills, and our bodies.

And the worst part? It takes 3 liters of water to make just 1 liter of bottled water. The industry is 600x more carbon-intensive than tap water—fueling the climate crisis.

Nestlé/BlueTriton’s empire is built on exploitation, pollution, and corporate greed.

What’s one way you avoid bottled water? Drop your tips below! ⬇️
