British startup Seabound has created a device that attaches to the exhaust of any ship, slashing emissions by up to 80%.

Here’s how it works:
⚙️ Traps CO₂ from ship exhaust
⚙️ Converts it into solid limestone
⚙️ Limestone can then be reused in construction or safely stored

Why it matters:
🌍 Shipping accounts for ~3% of global emissions, more than aviation.
⚓ And with 50,000+ cargo ships on our seas, the potential scale is enormous.

This could be a major boost for global decarbonization.
