Denmark has one of the lowest bullying rates in Europe, and one thing stands out:
Empathy class.
For over 20 years, Danish schools taught empathy as part of the core curriculum.
While it’s no longer mandatory, many schools still practice it—and the results speak volumes.
Kids learn to understand and support each other.
Class time is set aside to talk through feelings, solve problems together, and build emotional intelligence.
Imagine what our schools could be like if this was the norm.
Have you or your kids experienced empathy education firsthand? I’d love to hear more stories in the comments!
